GlowCheck is a web app for cosmetics. You photograph an ingredient list. The app scores that list against the skin type and goal you report, then shows a simple result and a cheaper alternative when the match is weak. Any brand can be scanned from the label. The bottle does not have to be in a catalog.
GlowCheck is not a doctor, not a lab, and not medical advice. It does not scan your face. It does not certify that a product is safe, hypoallergenic, or non-comedogenic. You decide what to do with the score.

You pick oily, dry, combination, or sensitive, and a goal such as pores, hydration, or a cheaper routine. The analyzer reads ingredient names from the photo. Heavier oils and esters weigh more when the profile is oily or focused on pores. Fragrance allergens weigh more when the profile is sensitive. Drying alcohols such as alcohol denat weigh more on dry and sensitive profiles. Fatty alcohols such as cetyl alcohol are not treated as alcohol denat. The label photo goes to the analyze server only so the ingredient list can be read. We do not use it to identify you, and we do not sell your data.
When the match is weak, GlowCheck can point at a cheaper product with a closer fit for the same profile. The point is the ingredient list, not a more expensive jar with the same heavy oils under a different logo. You still see the score for the bottle you photographed. The suggestion is optional.
